Correa sticks with ART in F3

Juan Manuel Correa will remain in F3 this season, staying with ART Grand Prix for a second season. The Ecuador born American returned to racing in 2021 after suffering injuries in 2019.

Correa ended the 2021 season 21st in the championship as he completed his return to racing following his crash with Anthoine Hubert in 2019.

The 22 year old scored eleven points on his comeback to the sport, taking a best finish of sixth at Circuit Paul Ricard having fought with the leaders for much of the race. Correa also scored points on the opening weekend in Barcelona, as well as further points in France, the Red Bull Ring in Austria and at the final round in Sochi.

The American is signed to the Sauber Academy, have re-signed following his return. He was driving the F3 car with some modifications for the first half of the season in 2021 but has now forgone them and is back to driving normally.

ART have already signed Gregoire Saucy for 2022, and are yet to announce their third driver.
