Having made their debut last year with Neil Trotter in a CUPRA TCR machine, Chameleon Motorsport will be once again contesting the TCR UK Touring Car Championship.

For the 2023 season however, the team has expanded to a two-car operation with Trotter and Lewis Brown using a pair CUPRA Leon Competición TCRs.

Even though Brown was scheduled to make his debut at the last round of the 2022 season at Snetterton, the testing undergone in his new machine has put him in a positive frame of mind ahead of the start of the season.

“I’m looking forward to starting in TCR UK afresh with a full season ahead of me this year, despite the technical setback we suffered at Snetterton. I’m excited to be a part of TCR UK in 2023 and to see the level of competition that’s grown since last season,” explained Lewis.

“When I drove the CUPRA Leon Competición TCR last year in testing, it felt like a great car to drive and I feel that once I have some more seat time in the car, I can be upfront amongst the leading drivers and really going for podium places at the least, with race wins as a long term aim this year.”
