Campos Racing have announced that Indian racer Kush Maini will race for their team in FIA Formula 2 in 2023, joining F2 veteran Ralph Boschung at the Spanish team.

Maini, 22, follows in the footsteps of brother Arjun who previously raced in F2.

The Indian driver surprised many with his performances as he competed in FIA Formula 3 last year for MP Motorsport, finishing 14th overall, taking a single podium and scoring points on four occasions, but competed ably all season.

He joins Ralph Boschung who will enter his sixth full season in F2 and his fifth with Campos.

Boschung endured a 2022 season blighted by a neck injury, but managed two podiums and finished 15th overall.

Speaking on Maini’s signing Adrian Campos said; “On behalf of Campos Racing, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Kush (Maini). He is a very committed, professional racing driver with a great work capacity, so we expect he will be able to complete a strong rookie season next year. He carried out some strong performances in FIA Formula 3 this season and hopefully he will make further improvements in the ultra-competitive FIA F2 Championship."
